Friday Five and storypeople

I

The week went by with some disease and some incidents,
not good to write about it. I'm very tired...

II

6th of january was the Day of Three Kings.
Its a holiday not in whole Germany, only in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony-Anhalt. Where I'm living...
Well, the holiday season is over and cleared away all the deco and we go on to other matters.
Funnily enough, I lost on that day my crown and went to the dentist on Wednesday.
Now I am crowned again ... ;-)

III

Yesterday I had to go to a hospital in another town.
It is very tiring always, go to an strange city without a car.
My love came this time with me, so I had no problems with orientation, that was very helpful.
Many hours were sitting on the benches waiting for a few brief investigations.
Next week I have to stay in the hospital to remove a kind of tumor.
They still do not know exactly what it is.
It's scary, the whole situation and particular the clinic.
Prior to the vet again with the cat and then remains the cat alone. Sigh!
Hospitals are the first thing on my worst-list...

IV

I like storypeople, the famous short storys of Brian Andreas and I have subscribed them by email.
Every day I get a mail with one story and a fantastic drawning.
Its a nice surprise for me, on every day.
Anyone who reads my blog regularly, certainly have noticed these stories, what I often quote to my photos.

They drove south one winter
until they could stand outside with no coats on & we never saw them again.

  6. Such wonderful snowy photos! Stay as warm as you can! I am so sorry about the tumor and hope it turns out to be benign. Something similar recently happened to a young woman in our church, and it was OK, but frightening. Funny you got re-crowned on "King's Day" (epiphany)...love that! Hope the cat is doing much better. God bless you in this coming new year! I love your posts and often enjoy the quotes from storypeople that you add.

  7. Thanks to all for your wishes, prayers, good thinking :-)
It is very much worth it for me to know in the world people think of me, even if they are very far away.
The cat is better, but not yet fully healed. Will waiting to monday , I hope, threads can be drawn. It was a large wound. There are still some concerns to leave her... my love will feed, but she is very suspicious and comes only to me.
I mustgo to the hospital on wednesday.

On to your health matters. As an Aspie I know your fears only too well. I'm so pleased you have someone with you to help. Please don't be afraid to ask. You know we are thinking of you in your hospital stay, and afterwords with the diagnosis. I hope you find some answers soon! xo JJ
