Still Saturday

Wohnungen

Die Seele meiner Mutter wohnt in einer Amsel
Die Seele meines Vaters wohnt in einer Abendsonne
Albert wohnt in einem Pfifferling
Ludwig in einem Stellwerk
Hubert in einem Schulheft
Alles kehrt wieder
und ist schon zu Ende.

Reflection in gray

Shared with Weekend Reflections

About gray and more...

After I had last week celebrated the blue, I decided now to celebrate the gray. It also has earned its chance.
Because I think it can be very nice, with all its nuances and boring it is not when you look closer.

For example, this gate in our old town wall: how many different shades have the stones!
I like this gate and I like to go through.
It is a very special place and passing through has something of enchantment.

Today, on Valentine's Day we're going with my loved ones eat in a nice little Asian restaurant very close to ... and then we both go through it and let us enchant for the day.

I made some pictures from winter jasmine with the help of a macro lens. When I saw the pictures, the withered dry flowers remembered me on old yellowed crumpled skirts of ballerinas.
This inspired my imagination and so I wrote a short story.

Silence surrounds her
broken by the creaking
of the steps.
Carefully put the feet.
Difficulty.
Slowly her eyes adjust
to the dim light
at the old attic.
Hanging there in the corner
the yellowed tulle dress.
She reaches for it
feels the fabric
and again she is surrounded
of the music.
The long years trained steps
a jump
and be held and lifted
at the same moment
and fall ...
When she wakes up, it's dark
around her
and she is on the boards
but it is not the stage
and laboriously she fumbles
to the fallen
crutches

Ein Stück Himmel - кусочек неба -

Looking for gray

After the previous blue week I'm looking for gray now.
I find it in a variety of appearance, everywhere.

The gray in the buildings

The gray of stone

The gray in the sky

The gray over the water

The gray in the park

The gray under my feets

The gray of ruins...

A question for the English-speaking reader: in my dictionary is "grey",
but google translator gives me "gray" - which word is correct?

Mascha mixt montags No. 35 -

dessen pastellene Streifen mich an Biedermeier erinnern
und an Frauen wie Bettina von Arnim.
Ich mag die Literatur jener Zeit...

After I have extensively celebrated last week the Blue
(who has desire, to see all the blue pictures -) ...
this time is gray on the series.
Gray is not necessarily boring or depressed for me - quite the contrary!
There are so many fascinating nuances of gray.
And in clothing it is a perfect combination partner,
whether to intense or soft tones.
For example, as for this wild silk skirt,
whose pastel stripes remind me of Biedermeie
and women like Bettina von Arnim.
I like the literature of the time ...

Our Beautiful World: Derelict

This morning I decided to celebrate a gray week.
And now comes this theme: derelict.
Already have always fascinated me derelicted things
and I have traced their stories.
I want to show some abandoned buildings in all their gray.
Abandoned houses are for me like some old peoples -
nobody their no longer needs.
But a word and a smile can give them joy
in their loneliness...
And a shot with the camera
makes that they're continue living
even if they are disappeared for a long time.

the buds are sleeping
waiting for spring

This week I want to celebrate the gray
and delight me in all its nuances.
I want to see how much beauty holds a dull gray day ready for me ...
