Friday Five and a balloon

Good morning,

I'm back at Willy Nilly Friday,

joining with Tom.

I

We had wonderful warm weather for a long time,

I often was gone for a swim to our public pool.

It's nearby and an especially joy for me.

II

The other side: since winter is gone, we had not serious rain, all is very dry.

Often we saw rainy clouds, but no one drop came down.

In public parks the rhododendrons lost all their leaves,

and the other bushes look all so sad.

III

I had a lot of trouble with the renovation of bathroom,

the man, who should do it, has begun and came not back to finish.

Three weeks lived in a mess and could not use it.

Was not my best time...

IV

I often think about Nancy (Rural Journal) and very miss her.

And I miss Tanya and some bloggers from UK,

which I met earlier every friday at Amy's Five on Friday.

Blogger contacts are so fragile.

In times of European DSGVO a lot of German bloggers closed their blogs,

 because it is to difficult with the new rules. Sigh!

Again the balloon was flying over my head and I took some photos.

I like to see it, but my cat hate it.
Makes such an especiallu "dangerous" noise.

Friday Five and a picstory

Good morning,

it's friday again and time to join

with Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday Five.

I

We got more snow on tuesday.

Not spring in sight... I'm so longhing for it.

II

Our temps are no more frosty since yesterday,

but it takes a long time, until all snow will be away.

III

About my week is nothing to say, normally alldays life and works.

IV

Have still healthy problems, can not go without crutches.

But I prefer to take my bike and push it.

Good for me to lean on it. And that doesn't look so disabled.

V

And I found an old, unpublished before picstory.

My sweetheart gave me to Valentine's Day a box of wooden stamps.

Very nice and useful for me...

On Valentine's Day we were in an Indian Restaurant.

It's the first one, that I had a meal outside of home, since I'm living glutenfree and without eggs (fucking allergies!). Normal German food is not a good idea, they make too much with wheat flour and eggs and I can not even eat pommes, if breaded chicken nuggets are made in the same frying fat. That makes life very complicate.

What a luck, that we have just in our town an Indian restaurant, it was all good for me and very yummy. Have enjoyed all the delights, even more, as my nutrition is very boring since a halfyear and nothing is truly delightful (okay, you can eat, what I cooke by myself, but so many things are no-go now 

and I haven't the money for yummy alternatives) 
This meal was a big highlight in my life and I'm very grateful for it.

Got these tulips from the "Table" (Charity) .

They had very little food this one, but a lot of not-saled flowers (after Valentine's Day).

Tha't an especially happiness for me.

What should I say about my week?

Winter is not my time of the year.

Bad cold and icy streets make bike riding not cozy... 

concerns, healthy problems, insomnia and some other stuff.  Sigh!

On wednesday I had a nice walk in the snow, but I forgot my camera...

III

My sweetheart was last days in Berlin with his parents.

His father is in the hospital now.

We do not know how much longer he will live.

In february, most people die...

IV

With my mom it goes round again.

Not good, but it goes.

V

When I'm here alone with the cat, I don't spend much time in the kitchen

 and so I had more free hours for creativity - yeah! 

That's the best time for me and I made some collages and paintings.

the week is gone so fast and it's friday again,

Our weather is crazy.

At the beginning of the week we had some snow

and now we have mild temps and spring in the air.

II

Today in the morning, still in the dark, when I opened the window

I heard a lot of birds, like in spring.

I like these dark mornings, time before the daybreak.

The space outside of my window seems so very wide and here sings a bird

and there sings another - that's a real stereo-effect.

Like to stand by the open window and listen to this natural concert.

III

Had some free hours for painting.

IV

When I'm going home from downtown, I often must stop by the railway barrier.

Take some photos, when my little camera is with me.

V

Have some flowers in my home.

It was a big bouquet, these are the rests of it. 

Enjoys me a long time.

Friday Five and New Year

Good morning,

it's the first friday in this year and I should

join again with Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday Five.

I'm very worn out at the moment

(and, maybe, I should take a break from blogging?)

My mother came out of the hospital at december 22th, 
they could nothing do for her.

She's just at home again and tody is her 91th birthday.

With today's day ends our celebration time.

Except Solstice, Christmas and New Year we have two birthdays in this time.

It's not a blessing, if there is a lot wrong with a family, but everyone has to pretend

 that everything is fine and necessarily keep the traditions... 

Celebrations are always the most difficult time in the year.

I'm glad, that it's over soon!

I got this wonderful gift from my love: the Wild-fruits-book of Henry David Thoreau.

Written like a kind of daybook and more than a book about plants and fruits.

The philosopher's view of nature can be very enriching for one's own life.

Even today or just today...

This book is truly a treasure and will go with me through this year.

This was all my Christmas decoration this one,

everyday life swallowed all my energy.

Solstice we have celebrated outdoor, als always, here are more photos.

Tha't our own celebration, without the rest of family.

Good intentions for the new year?

I absolutely must have more free space for my well-being

and I so wanna have time for paint and creative things.

Don't know, what comes next and can b realized this...

But a least I took the goal to finish all my "knitting ruins",

which I begun some years ago ;-)
