Nancy's kindly meme Random5Friday is in a break, but I have nevertheless done a post about my everyday this week. It is a cherished habit.
It is really spring now , even the trees are blooming already green and the cherry tree begins in the garden.
I started to bring the pots with the plants from the house and cellar in the yard and then to clean all the windows.
The breaks I spend reading in the garden. Until one of the cats me tenderly but firmly attracted to u get food in the kitchen.
If I then go out ... is guaranteed to be the other cat in my chair .
If I'm lucky , she allowed me to sit back and lies down on my belly. This is the most beautiful thing...
Yesterday at the Table-day were very many people and little food. I got almost nothing. But I was nevertheless totally happy , because I found there in the boxes with the books a few intersting books for me.
One I have already started to read : "The World to Come " by Dara Horn .
It is very well written, this narrative style I like.
As poetic part today a quote from this book. Something that I already felt like (it is about an exhibition of paintings by Marc Chagall )
" Strange happens with images that nobody looks at . They begin to sing . In the deserted room the hum of colors rang out on the walls. Alone with the pictures , listening to Ben, while each shade sang their own pitch : melancholy wafting high notes for the woman in the air, a deep resounding hum for " lovers in Blue". The small dark image rocked the air with sounds pounding piano keys - like those who they rang time in his parents' living room every now and then by mistake in the middle of a song, a minor chord ... "
About some problems, mishaps and painful I will not write.
There are so many beautiful and good things for which I am grateful.
And I end my post for today's Lent Friday with a song of Hieromonk Roman
