Colors of love

She was not much in fashion, she loved the free and easy life.
No dictation, no coercion, by none.
She loved her simple useful clothes and wore them until they fell apart.
Old and faded colors...
But every time when she met a new love, she bought a new scarf.
She chose the colors in matching with the feeling.
Often the scarfs were in red tones, when she was inflamed with love.
But there were also muted tones, shy, tender.
Or dark. With stripes in it.
She has so much love in her live.
This made her rich.
Without the expectation of being loved in return, but that's why it succeeded mostly.
Sometimes she looks at the stack of scarves and each of them is a memory.
Alive.
Almost as good as new.

Universal Law #2

When God closes a door, He opens a window & then it usually rains & the water damage is a minimum of 2 times as much as your highest estimate...

Little German ABC

B is for Baum

Baum [baom] der <–(e)s, Bäume> means a tree

This is a trees by an old abbey (how old may it be?)
Trees are so friendly working for us.
They provide shade, make oxygen, nourish us with fruit and a life without wood is unthinkable.
The green to the eyes well and I love the colors of autumn.

In the winter I find they especially nice when I can see their true form, all the intricate branches.

No matter what

Trust is a lot easier when you quit worrying about what could go wrong & remember how much life you're going to live no matter what happens.

Ode to a brown paper bag

Today's picstory is inspired by a poem of Gillena Cox.
On monday I read it in her meme "Monday WRites"
and I was immediately fascinated by this idea and the poetic power of her words.
My "inner cinema" showed me a whole story behind it, and so I made this picstory.

ODE TO A BROWN PAPER BAG

there it lies, folded at the creases,
crisp, neat lines lay on the kitchen counter;
shall i unfold it, expand it, open it
to sounds of morning; filling it with
a din of twitterings,
i mean to cram all those birdsongs into
a brown paperbag; so vast this ideal
of a dawning sky, where does one begin
to draw rainbows? where does the dark
of night hang his obsidian coat?
it peters out, the earliest din;
so the opened brown paper bag
now stands on the kitchen counter
seemingly empty

ABC Wednesday

A is for Anfang.

Anfang  [ˈanfaŋ] is the German word for beginning.
A seed can be the beginning of a new plant life.
A landing on a distant shore may be the beginning of an adventure ...

In this week begins the 17th round of Mrs. Nesbitts ABC-Wednesday.
I've decided to play this round with German words.

Morning light

These are little packets of light & you need to plant them early in the year & remember to mark where they were because lots of times they look like weeds in the beginning & it’s not until later that you see how beautiful they really are....
