B is for Baum
Baum [baom] der <–(e)s, Bäume> means a tree
This is a trees by an old abbey (how old may it be?)
Trees are so friendly working for us.
They provide shade, make oxygen, nourish us with fruit and a life without wood is unthinkable.
The green to the eyes well and I love the colors of autumn.
In the winter I find they especially nice when I can see their true form, all the intricate branches.

Pretty images of the tree, I like the first shot with the stone wall. Have a happy day!
AntwortenLöschenA very old tree indeed and sadly showing a little of it's age. But, it has many stories to tell if we were to listen. Beautiful shots, Mascha ...

That tree is as beautiful with no leaves as it is with leaves. I like the color and texture of the wall too. The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein is a book that leads children to understand the blessings we receive from trees.
AntwortenLöschenI think, this book we have in German too (will look at the library, because I like books for children)
