How to make a galaxy. Hold a light the color of spring leaves in your hand. Breathe in deeply until it reaches the constellation of stars wrapped around your spine. There it is dark in a way that night is not & silent in a way we have forgotten & in that dark & silence the stars begin to flicker with a light that cannot be seen at first, but only felt & that is always how it begins.
