The history of this house is full of change.
Built as a factory owners villa of the nearby paper mill, the house was in times of formerly GDR a dilapidated home for many families.
On each floor there are several people shared the rooms - which was normal. Without separate apartment doors ...
After the collapse it was partially renovated and used as a student club. After that it was for a short time a brothel, but just was a shootout and the owner was not probably the right man for this business ... - - -
Then tried new owners to living in, but they failed at the remediation effort.
Now it is a hotel (here are more photos from inside).
It is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest.
Here begins and ends our forest walks.
