Good morning,
it's friday and I should feed my neglected blog.
At least for today, once a week (Nancy's kindly meme is calling me-)
One post in the week is not to much...
I
I was feeling really bad last time and not all does heal in sleep.
Biggest problem often is to find a doctor in our little town and I mostly rely on myself.
Hope I have now found the cause and my health can stay finally better.
II
When we stroll through the forest, we often see such places.
It is sad, but it is also the way of the world.
Someone had a good breakfast here.
I always suppose the most beautiful feathers from such places, I collect them.
I've read , that in the States is prohibited to collect feathers, in order to protect the birds.
This is obvious, but in Germany I do not know this prohibition.
And of course, I take only feathers which I find on my way.
Much more I love of course the birds in the trees and in this time the air is full of wonderful songs.
III
I like the colors of our sunny spring meadows.
The green comes later...
IV
An amazing video of feather balancing
V
At last a Russian song, what I like.
Пёрышко - Little Feather
Have a nice weekend all.
Friday My Town Shoot Out, in order not to lose the contact.
Sorry, I'm blogging now a little less.
Beautiful photos!

AntwortenLöschenI'm glad you are feeling better. Yes it's always a sad sight to see feathers like that. I don't think there are any prohibitions about collecting them in England either. Lovely pictures x
AntwortenLöscheni hope you are feeling better...what a pretty feather collection you have! when i was a kid and we'd go to the zoo i'd always have my parents buy me a peacock feather from the gift shop...i wonder if they still sell them...that was back when disneyland also sold rabbit furs in their gift shop, crazy! that last photo looks just like a place i like to take my dog out for a walk here! have a great weekend and thanks for linking!!
AntwortenLöschenSo glad to hear that your health is improving. My doctor retired the first of the year and haven't been able to find a new one. Tom The Backroads Traveller
AntwortenLöschenSchöne Fotos. Die Federn sind sehr schön.

Wonderful photos! Lovely to see your collection of such pretty feathers - hope you feel well again soon:)
AntwortenLöschenSo sad, the feathers on the ground. Hurry and get to feeling better.
AntwortenLöschenThank you for the music! i am enjoying it this very moment. I am grateful you take time to share with us - Please Be Well!
AntwortenLöschenLovely photos Mascha. In the USA, it is illegal to possess feathers from some birds, endangered ones, and all raptors, if I remember correctly. One must have a permit to collect them, or be a Native American (different permit process I think).
AntwortenLöschenWonderful pictures.
AntwortenLöschenStay well. I enjoyed all your feather pictures.
AntwortenLöschenIt kind of looks like a bird has met its doom in that first picture of feathers. The last picture of feathers is lovely. We have some pheasant feathers.
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful feathers post, Mascha! The video was lovely, even if I didn't understand the words. In America, it is the eagle and hawk feathers that are protected, not all bird feathers. It is always so sad to see a pile of feathers where some predator has eaten, but of course that it nature's way. Glad you collected some of them...they can make lovely accents in a home.
AntwortenLöschenI wanted to tell you also that I hope your physical problems find some ease. I hope you can find help for them and get better. All my best, dear friend!
AntwortenLöschenSuch a lovely walk in the forest! I live in the forest, too, and see the remains of the hunted....so sad, but yes, the way of nature. It is true that in America you are not allowed to commercially sell feathers of any type of wild bird, but.I think it is o.k. to have a private collection that you have gathered over time. I have my own little collection....some say they are gifts from departed loved ones....Have a lovely week. xo Karen
AntwortenLöschenI do love birdsong in spring, it is so full of promise for the times to come. Have a lovely weekend.
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful spring shots! I admit, I do have some owl feathers from the great horned owl baby that was killed by raccoons. I was horribly sad, as I had been watching them grow.
AntwortenLöschenI always pick up stray feathers that I know have been molted from a bird...then I study their intricaties. May the hope of spring dwell in your heart as you continue to gain health, dear Mascha.
AntwortenLöschenHave a lovely sunday and I hope you're felling better now !
AntwortenLöschenSomeone did have a nice, uninterrupted lunch. Occasionally I find feathers in my yard. It is kind of sad, but nature, as you said. Hope you're feeling better. Waiting for the greens of spring here, too.
AntwortenLöschenthe feathers were naturally dropped?
