My own fence is ugly and made of stainless steel.
Perhaps such fence fits well to a modern buildings of glass, steel and concrete .. but not for a house from1880, made with wood and clay. - That's just the peak of bad taste!
It was already there when I moved into the house.
I don't have the money for another fence.
So I've planted polygonum and it has the fence well hidden.
With this wilderness I can live better ...

What a great job of "fixing" the fence in your yard. I am happy to find a blogger friend in Germany. I do not speak German, but my ancestors are 100% from Emden area in Germany. I also live in a town in Texas US where German families immigrated many, many years ago. See my blog today for the cemetery and fences constructed by these German families. I'll connect with you and follow your blog.

I love the gardening you have done.
AntwortenLöschenIt goes well with the nice home and does a good job of subduing the effect of the fence.
Looks great!
Peace :)
A very creative and clever way to hide your fence Mascha. The old tone wall and the house are beautiful and so are your flowers.
AntwortenLöschena lovely solution, Mascha, for the ugly fence.
AntwortenLöschenI'm like you!! I like hidden fences!!
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful job! We have an old wooden fence falling down which we are propping up and covering with jasmine, slowly but surely :-)
AntwortenLöschenAls Rankhilfe eignet er sich gut, und wie man sieht gefällt es der Pflanze.
