B - Б - is for берёза (berjoza) - birch
and
белый (bjelyj) - white
What would Russia without it's birchs?
Hundreds songs and poems tell about them
and I've chosen today a song from the seventies:
Берёза белая (berjoza bjelaja*) - White birch
*Note: when a noun endings in a or ja, it is feminine.
Than even the adjective get a feminine ending - aja or jaja.

AntwortenLöschenI LOVE THIS! I am Russian and we just lost our grandmother who was really the last member of the family who could speak fluent Russian. Thank you for posting this. I hope to see more--xo Dea
