Between Lives

Today, I'm in the exact place in between two lives & you may ask
which I will choose, unless you've been in the in-between place
before & then you know how to simply sit quietly
until your life chooses you.

  2. Thank you dear Mascha for sharing this beautiful post with us. The story people text really spoke to my heart, because that's the exact place I'm in right now.
I'm always amazed to see how many places of decay you find to take photos of. Here in the Netherlands it will be hard to find places like that, because here we tend to clean up the whole thing as soon as possible because there is simply not enough room in our little country and every square inch has to be used. But I love the beauty of decay as well, so I'm happy to see you sharing it with us. And it's really nice to have you join the Simply Neutrals party with your beautiful photography and touching story people texts. Life isn't all about serene gorgeousness, thank goodness :)
    Big hugs and love, xx

  4. Liebe Mascha,

  6. Mascha, as usual your collages are evocative and interesting. The buildings seem to hold sadness, like being bombed in a war?

    Have a good week,

  7. These old, abandoned buildings can be dangerous places. Hope you got out without any injury. Strong photos and post.

  8. When I'm in between two lives, so to speak, am not so graceful to wait till life chooses me - because I want to choose life, right this minute, lol! The portrait of the lady surrounded by flowers makes me think of Frida Kahlo (wife of Diego Rivera) - a Hispanic couple and both well known artists here on this side of the ocean) leaves an unforgettable impression! Many thanks for bringing up this subject to All Seasons!
